Abstract
Pure Chern Simons theory is topological and contains no propagating degrees of freedom When coupled to matter the theory becomes interesting since its quanta contain anyons that give rise to the Aharonov Bohm effect This anyonic nature non trivially modifies the usual crossing rules in quantum field theory and it is expected that this is a general feature of scattering amplitudes in any Chern Simons matter theory The conjectured crossing rules passes the stringent tests of unitarity bosonization duality and reduces to the Aharanov Bohm scattering in the non relativistic limit In this talk we review several aspects of scattering amplitudes in 2 1 dimensional U N Chern Simons matter theories in the planar limit
