Laboratory B1 for Reduced 203.1.2753 Summary Uncertainty in measurement and its statistical meaning Fitting and interpreting data Experimental procedures and reporting of results Each student, working in pairs, completes 3 of the following experiments: 1) The ratio between electron charge and its mass (e/m) 2) Polarization of light 3) Frank-Hertz experiment 4) Michelson and Fabry-Perot Interferometers 5) Photo-Electric Effect 6) Lasers 7) Micro Waves 8) Nuclear Radiation 9) Noise 10) Speed of sound in fluids Prior to each experiment there is an entrance exam, and there are two oral exams during the semester.

מעבדה B1 מקוצרת תקציר אי-ודאות במדידה ומשמעותה הסטטיסטית התאמת נתונים ופרשנותם נהלים ניסויים ודיווח על תוצאות כל תלמיד, בזוגות, מבצע 3 מתוך הניסויים הבאים: 1. היחס בין מטען האלקטרון למסתו (e/m) 2. קיטוב אור 3. ניסוי פרנק-הרץ 4. אינטרפרומטרים של מיכלסון ופברי-פרו 5. האפקט הפוטואלקטרי 6. לייזרים 7. מיקרוגלים 8. קרינה גרעינית 9. רעש 10. מהירות הקול בנוזלים לפני כל ניסוי יש מבחן כניסה, וישנם שני מבחנים בעל-פה במהלך הסמסטר.
