Stochastic wave equation in an expanding medium universe

I discuss the appearance of the stochastic wave equation in classical as well as quantum field theory in an interaction with an environment I consider the diffusion defined by the stochastic wave equation mainly in cosmological models The power spectrum is the main property measured in experiments Various methods of calculating the power spectrum will be reviewed In particular results concerning the spectral index in CMB in cold and warm inflation will be explained
