QM and SUSY methods in BH perturbation theory

Abstract
In this talk, we will discuss three seemingly unrelated topics: quantum mechanical systems, supersymmetric gauge theories, and black hole perturbation theory. In some cases, they can be viewed as different real slices of the same complex system. Thus, methods that were developed in the context of SUSY theories can also be applied to black hole perturbation theory. We will focus on one such application, where the Seiberg-Witten theory can be used to compute the quasinormal mode frequencies of Schwarzschild and Kerr black holes.
