The life-cycle of random walks on random networks

Abstract
I will present recent results on the dynamics of random walks on random networks,
using the framework of first-passage processes. The random walk model in random
media is relevant to many reaction processes in chemistry and biology, where the
encounter of particles can be described as a first-passage process. I will present
results for the distribution of first return times, first passage times and cover times,
which reveal the relevant time scales in the life-cycle of random walks on random
networks.
