Abstract:
Building a scalable useful quantum computer is an extremely challenging task. Currently multi billions of dollars are invested in the quantum industry in order to make it a reality. While the realization of such a machine is still not achieved, advanced quantum control solutions and hybrid classical-quantum computing are at the forefront of advancing the field toward a practical solution. In this talk I will give an overview of current progress in hybrid quantum-classical computing and how we at Quantum Machines (QM) believe this will accelerate the realization of useful quantum computers. I will then introduce the recently opened Israeli Quantum Computing Center (IQCC) and will explain why this is the first native quantum data center in the world and why we believe it will shape the future of quantum computing. I will explain how it can support the Israeli quantum ecosystem and detail some of the recent progress we've made in our path to making it the leading public quantum computing center in the world.
