Abstract

I will talk about aspects of half-BPS Neveu-Schwarz fivebranes bound to momentum waves (NS5-P). I will explain that when this system is subject to a chemical potential conjugate to the momentum charge, the source has a shape of a four-dimensional fuzzy sphere described by a weakly-coupled and weakly-curved Supergravity. For large chemical potentials, the redshift near the source is large but finite, making it similar to a black hole carrying the same charges. Additionally, I will present the metric sourced by an ensemble of NS5-P subject to angular potentials. This ensemble exhibits a sphere topology for the source, in contrast to a ring structure encountered in NS5-P with fixed angular momenta.
