Abstract:
In 2016 IBM has put the first quantum processor on the cloud, making it available for everyone to access and run experiments on. This milestone required months of cross-team and cross-continent collaboration to realize, pulling together scientists and engineers from various disciplines and backgrounds. Today IBM Quantum offers a full-stack quantum computing ecosystem which includes dozens of quantum processors, open-source SDK to work with and a rich set of tools and utilities to enable running experiments and conducting research on and with the quantum devices.
In this talk I will give an overview of the of the main capabilities IBM Quantum makes available for users and researchers and will describe the focus areas the IBM quantum computing team in Israel is focusing on.
