Aspects of type IIA AdS4 orientifold vacua

Abstract

In this talk, we will explore the vacua structure of type IIA (CY) orientifold compactifications with fluxes, both from the 4d and the 10d point of view.

We will start by focusing on the 4d perspective to perform a systematic search of vacua, with both RR and NSNS fluxes and geometric fluxes. We will study the properties of the vacua.

We will then put on the 10d glasses to see what we can learn from this point of view. We will analyse the smearing approximation (related to the question of scale separation) and the non-perturbative stability of the vacua.

We will finish by commenting on the would-be CFT duals of the AdS4 vacua obtained
