Abstract

The FASER experiment at the LHC, is a small experiment aiming at new (BSM) feebly interacting long lived particles. The experiment's detector is located at approximately 500mts in line of sight of the ATLAS interaction point. It is designed to take advantage of the enormous flux of light hadrons in the direction of the LHC beam produced at the LHC collisions. In the talk I will discuss the physics case and the status of the experiment (which will begin collecting LHC Run-3 in a few months)
