Abstract:
I briefly discuss the motivation behind the idea that gravity could be a fundamentally classical interaction and summarize previous proposals to test it. I address the issue of acceleration noise in the recent Bose-Marletto-Vedral proposal to test gravitational entanglement between two quantum systems in a double Stern-Gerlach interferometer. I propose an alternative direct test of gravitational self interaction via spin dephasing in a single Stern-Gerlach interferometer.
