This degree enables students to study and optimally combine the fields of Earth sciences, environmental sciences, and physics. It trains outstanding students with broad knowledge and high capability in these fields, positioning them to continue to advanced degrees in either the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences or the Physics Department without supplementary coursework, and to contribute significantly to research in both departments.
