Research
My research is focused on the microscopic description of classical gravitational systems within the general context of string theory. I specialize in constructing gravitational solutions in supergravity theories and in using them to obtain new insights on the quantum regime of the gravitational field. I am currently working in a broad set of sub-areas of string theory like holography, defect field theories and the supersymmetry breaking in relation to the Swampland conjectures.
