We are setting up a new laboratory in the physics department at Ben Gurion University with the focus of imaging and manipulating the electronic structure of quantum materials including, high-temperature superconductors, metal-insulator transition and topological insulators. For this purpose, we utilize the capabilities of Laser Molecular Beam Epitaxy (Laser-MBE) to grow thin films and design heterostructures, and advanced electron spectroscopy techniques to map the electronic structure, in particular angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy (ARPES).
