The jet feedback mechanism: from supernovae to clusters of galaxies

I will review the operation of jets via a jets feedback mechanism in heating the gas in clusters of galaxies, in shaping planetary nebulae, in shaping nebulae around massive stars, in the common envelope evolution, and in core collapse supernovae. I will present new results of numerical simulations and their interpretations.
