Abstract

Quantum collapses and revivals are fascinating manifestations of coherence Of particular interest in recent years are macroscopic quantum interference effects in Bose Einstein condensates We studied such effects for the two site Bose Hubbard model that models the double well in some regime of parameters If the number of particles N is large semiclassical analysis where 1 N plays the role of Planck s constant can be a powerful tool In the limit of weak inter particle interactions we used semiclassical analysis to find the
