Abstract

We employ few mode Bose Hubbard systems as minimal models for studying mesoscopic thermalization and its relation to classical chaos On the one hand such models offer an opportunity to investigate how stochastic equilibration like behavior can be obtained from low dimensional microscopic Hamiltonian dynamics without need for an environment or for an ensemble construction On the other hand they may be used to test some of the fundamen
