Probing the neutrinos with atomic physics

Massless neutrinos mediate a long range 1 r 5 potential This potential is very weak and so far it was not observed and there is no near future experiment that has the capabilities to observe it In the talk we will explain how this force emerges and why it is so hard to probe We then discuss some new ideas to probe it using atomic parity violation While these new ideas are still not practical the hope is that they will lead to some ideas that can be done 10:55 Refreshments 11:10 Talk by Yuval Grossman 12:10 Lunch 13:00 Time for discussion and collaboration
