Abstract
Diboson resonances with TeV scale masses appear in many well motivated extensions to the Standard Model The large dataset of proton proton collisions at 13 TeV collected by the ATLAS experiment at the LHC has enabled us to search for these interesting phenomena with unprecedented sensitivity While no evidence for diboson resonances was observed in these data we are able to place strong constraints on the existence of these new resonances In the seminar we will discuss the latest results and focus on the experimental developments that allowed us to improve the sensitivity to diboson resonances by a factor of 2 3 from previous searches
