Abstract

In this talk we discuss an alternative to cold dark matter models We focus on self interacting dark matter with semi annihilation We show an exothermic semi annihilation leads to unique dark matter temperature evolution after the dark matter freeze out Dark matter temperature in this scenario decreases slowly relative to that of usual WIMP This evolution of dark matter temperature leaves an observable signature in large scale structure of the universe specifically suppresses structure formation at subgalactic scale similar to warm dark matter models but with GeV scale dark matter mass
