Abstract

Combustion is still the primary source of energy in the world In order to improve efficiency of combustion and to reduce the unwanted influence on the environment better understanding of the combustion chemistry is needed Laser spectroscopy allows nonintrusive monitoring of various processes involved in combustion Several methods of laser spectroscopy and their application to the combustion studies will be considered: Laser Induced Fluorescence Cavity Ring Down spectroscopy Intracavity Laser Absorption Spectroscopy
