This research focuses on studying phase evolution and ordering phenomena in the La2NiO4 system with doping, aiming to deepen our understanding of its antiferromagnetic and stripe ordering. The study involves the growth of thin films of La2-xSrxNiO4 using pulsed laser deposition (PLD), enabling the exploration of how thin-film growth techniques and induced strain affect its structural and electronic properties. Additionally, magnetic excitations were investigated through Raman spectroscopy, which was chosen for its sensitivity to subtle symmetry changes and ability to probe magnetic interactions in thin-film systems.
