Abstract

In this talk, I discuss a relationship between entanglement and gravity, which is summarized as "Entanglement Builds Geometry". The notion of entanglement is briefly recapitulated and I argue that it mirrors properties of a black hole. I move on by introducing a more fine-grained notion of entanglement, applicable whenever a the system obeys a symmetry, namely symmetry-resolved entanglement. I explain how to derive this in a gravitational setup for the case of U(1).
