Abstract

If quarks from a hidden, QCD-like, sector are produced at the LHC they are expected to parton shower and hadronize.
Some hidden sector hadrons can decay back to SM particles forming dark jets.
We present a model independent method to search for resonant pair production of such objects.
We test these methods on simulated data and compare the effectiveness of high-level vs. low-level jet representations.

The seminar will be in-person, and also streamed on Zoom.
