Abstract
We aim to study simplified biological parameters constructing the correlation structure between two neurons (through the process of unsupervised learning governed by STDP), which enables potentiation of cortical neuronal clusters - populations of neurons with strong synaptic weights among them.
Our main model of interest comprises of a single Chandelier cell firing at each population of neurons, which are considered homogeneous at start – so that fluctuations in network correlations might encourage the construction of highly connected neuronal clusters.
