Title- Occupation and Counting Statistics in Closed Mesoscopic Systems
We analyze Ocupation and counting statistics in specific examples:
double path
coherent oscillations; double path adiabatic transfer; quantum stirring
and persistent currents.
Stirring is the operation of inducing a DC circulating current by means
of AC periodic driving. As a deterministic classical analog of
quantum stirring we consider the
prototype “piston pump” operating on a ring. This can be
regarded as a generalized Fermi-Ulam model, incorporating a
finite-height moving wall (piston), and non trivial topology (ring).
