Non-equilibrium steady state in topologically frustrated systems
Abstract
Assume
having a three sites system driven far from equilibrium. The system is
coupled to two reservoirs; one is a stationary noisy driving while the
other is a heat bath causing relaxation, such that the system can reach
steady state.
Our interest is in the current induced in a system at non-equilibrium
steady state (NESS). We want to understand the dependency of the
aforementioned current on the stochastic motive force (SMF) and
possibly also an electro-motive force (EMF) provided by later addition
of Aharonov Bohm flux, and derive the system's conductance in both
cases.
