Born 1930 in Ancona, Italy. Died 1998 in Beer Sheva.
Received his Ph.D. in 1965 from the Hebrew University, Jerusalem.
Spent his PostDoc period in Toronto, Canada and the Hebrew University
in Jerusalem.
Between 1969-1972 was Assistant Professor at the Catholic University
in Washington, D.C.
Since 1972 at Ben Gurion University, were he started as senior lecturer
and became Professor of Physics.
Between 1977 and 1980 he was Chairman of the Physics Department
Born 9/9/1931 in Kaunas Lithuania and died in 1989 while attending
a conference in Brazil.
In 1958 he came to Israel.
Got his M.Sc. at the Hebrew University, Jerusalem
Got his Ph.D. from the Technion, Haifa in 1967.
In 1969 he became a member of the Physics Department of the University
of the Negev (later renamed Ben Gurion University). He was the first
theoretical physicist of the faculty to do full time teaching and research
at the University.
Born 18th of January 1949 in Vilnus, Lithuania. Died on the 22nd of
March 1999 in Beer Sheva.
Completed his undergraduate studies in Vilnus, and came to Israel in 1979.
Continued his studies at Ben Gurion University, and obtained his M.Sc. in 1977
and his Ph.D. in 1980.
He held a PostDoc position for two years between1980 and 1983 at the
University of Wisconsin in Milwakee and then for a year at The Ben Gurion
University. In 1983 was appointed a lecturer at the Jacob Blaustein
Institute for Desert Research.
In 1995 he became Associate Professor in a joint appointment of the
Physics Department and the Blaustein Institute for Desert Research.

Spent his PostDoc period, between 1964 to 1967 at Temple University
and at the University of Maryland.
In the year 1967 He was Assistant Professor at the University of
Maryland.
between 1967 and 1972 He was researcher, and Senior Researcher at
Aerospace Research Laboratory in Ohio.
In 1972 he joint the Physics department at Ben Gurion University.
He became Professor in 1974. He was thus the first full Professor in
the then new Physics Department.
Between 1973 and 1977 he was Chairman of the Physics Department
He was a fellow of the American Physical Society.
Between 1982 and 1985 He was President of the Israel Physical
Society.

Spent the year 1960/1 at Oxford University, England and then
spent the year 1961/2 at the Centre d'etudes Nucleares at
Fontenay-aux-Rose, France.
In 1962 he joined the Nuclear Research Center in the Negev. Since 1965
he also taught courses in Physics in Beer Sheva. This was a seed from which
eventually the Ben Gurion University developed. He was involved in the
planning of the physics curriculum for the future Physics department,
from the beginning. In the year 1969/70 he was responsible for the physics
curriculum of the pre-University in Beer Sheva. In 1983 he was
appointed as a full Professor in the Ben Gurion University.
He is the recipient of The Ernst David Bergmann Prize.
