Title: The kinetices of MinD on membrane
|
During
bacterial cell division a new cell wall is constructed exactly in the middle of
the bacterial cell (such as E. coli). One of the most fundamental questions of
bacterial cell cycle is how this precise spatial positioning is achieved. One
of the mechanisms
responsible for the division site location is a system of three proteins
MinCDE, that oscillate from pole to pole with a time period of ~ 40s. We have used different methods of Fluctuation Fluorescence
