From Beersheva bus station, take bus 060 - destination Mitzpe Ramon. Get
ticket to "Midreshet Ben-Gurion" or "Midrasha", NOT Kibbutz Sede Boqer.
This bus lets people off at the entrance to the Midrasha. (Follow signs
from there).

There is also a 392 which goes to Eilat, but doesn't actually enter the

Special Bus:

We are planning a special bus to leave the BGU campus in Beersheva at
12:00 Wednesday morning. Please let us know if you are interested in a bus
returning after the evening program, and, if so, at what time. If you
would ratherstay over, please contact Shoshana Dann at sdann@bgumail.bgu.ac.il to
reserve a room. Students do NOT PAY and are encouraged to enjoy
themselves.

We are planning a bus to Sede Boqer, leaving the Beersheva BGU campus (the parking lot behind the Bank Hapoalim) Wednesday Feb. 16 at 12:00, returning after the evening program around 9:30, then Thursday Feb. 17 leaving Beersheva at 8:00 and returning at the end of the Fete around 7:00 (possibly earlier). Please send an answer to hanab@bgumail.bgu.ac.il (we request that you NOT phone David Eichler's office) as soon as possible so that we can know if there are enough people interested to warrant the expense of hiring such a bus.

Room Reservations (includes breakfast):

single person in room = NIS 202

couple in room = NIS 260

3rd person in room = IS 95

Availability:

10 rooms with 2 beds
10 suites with 2 rooms x 2 beds
(each room also has a pull out bed)
They also have "dorm type" rooms which may be more suitable for students, I
think 6 beds per room, and naturally less expensive (if the dept. is
covering expense, as for all students)
If singles are willing to share a room or suite, they should let me (Shoshana Dann at sdann@bgumail.bgu.ac.il) know
when reserving room. ALSO, if they have a preference, who they wish to
share with, to also indicate this. Depending on how many sign up, we
cannot absolutely guarantee single person per room. We'll of course, only
know this later.

Lodging and dinner expenses in Sede Boqer are covered by the department for students participating in the Fete. Faculty members, Researchers and Postdoctorates are not covered by the department. Please send an e-mail to hanab@bgumail.bgu.ac.il indicating if you plan to stay for dinner and concert and refreshments, and, as well, if you wish to stay overnight. We need this information by Sunday, Feb. 6 at the latest.
