IPS 2008 - Honor System

Registration

The new IPS website is not yet fully functional. For this reason we allow abstract submissions at BGU using a fake IPS registration number. Those who use this option as if declare that they are going to register and make the required payments in a later stage, latest at the meeting, but better before via the IPS registration site (the link is available in the menu on the left).

IPS registration number

Submissions require an IPS registration number. The Format of this number is  Fxxxx for a full member, Sxxxx for a student, Pxxxx for a pensioner, and Txxxx for a teacher, where xxxx are four digits.  If you are not registered you still can choose a fake IPS registration number Axxxx for your submission (please write in the in the appropriate field of the submission form the letter "A" followed by any four digits that you like). You just have to verify that the four digits that you choose are not yet in use: please take a look at the list of submissions.

Submissions

In order to enter the submission site UserName and Password are required. The required information has been distributed to all faculty members via the physics office of their home institution (it is the same UserName and Password for all). Faculty members are allowed to give their students the permission to submit abstracts after they check and approve their presentation. Click here to enter the submission site, but first read the instructions below.

Note for Students

We encourage any student that has interesting research results to submit an abstract. Ask your adviser to approve your submission and to give you the UserName and the Password of the submission site. Please feel free to play with the submission form, and press "submit" once you are happy with the result.
