After the Higgs Discovery

Michael Dine, University of California at Santa Cruz

It appears almost certain that the particle with mass 126 GeV discovered at the Large Hadron Collider is the Higgs of the Standard Model. This talk will consider the significance of this discovery, the questions it raises, and the future directions for particle physics to which it points.
