Program

  • Transportation: we are going to arrange taxis (sharing possible) from and to the airport. Prices and other details after we know the arrival times of all who need assistance. A message with instructions will be sent out to all participants.
  • Sightseeing tour to Jerusalem is planned for April 14.

Focus

The meeting brings together scientists working in space physics, plasma physics, astrophysics, and nonlinear systems, in theory, simulations, and experiment. The objective is to report and discuss recent progress in our understanding of the key issues: shocks, particle acceleration, reconnection, turbulence, complexity, dynamical system analysis, and advanced data processing methods, in view of heliospheric in-situ measurements (Themis, Stereo, Cluster, Venus-Express) and remote astrophysical observations (Swift and Fermi Gamma-ray Telescope).
